Nude + Nude = Skinny

I purchased this dress at Banana Republic. The cut of the dress is really appealing to my "curves".  This dress is great to wear to any meeting and/or another day in the office.

The best part about wearing nude is that it makes you look slim.  The same goes with shoes.  When you wear nude shoes, it elongates your legs (similar color as your skin).  Since I'm a whooping 5'1, nude shoes are a must.

These nude shoes are great! They are comfortable, go with every outfit and with the thick heel I'm able to wear them all day at the office without any discomfort.  The shoes are Nine West and I purchased them from TJ Maxx.  They have the same shoes in black, those will probably be in my closet soon!

Colors + Neutrals

Color jeans are really popular right now and the best thing about color is that it can be paired with any neutral.  I love wearing bright colors to the office! It brightens up any room.  Typically I pair a bright skirt (since I can't wear jeans to work) with a black, white, or grey top.

The yellow skirt is a linen vintage skirt.  I simply love this skirt and always get a ton of compliments. You'd be pleasantly surprised who compliments you when you wear bright colors.  So put down the black skirt and buy the brightest color in the store!

P!nk Possessions

Pink is in the air! I'm not sure if you've flipped through any fashion magazines lately or glanced at Pinterest lately, but PINK is the hottest interior design trend since shag carpet in the 70s. After looking through 300 pins of pink accents on Pinterest, I decided it was time to make the plunge and invest in pink. The top three pictures are from my apartment and the rest are inspirations from Pinterest.

Audrey Hepburn photo. Got at Ross for $20!

Pink goes great with brown tones. Pillows from Bed Bath & Beyond.

Ikea storage with pink and silver candle holders. Pink holder from Ross $7.

There's something so inviting to the new capped toe heel. Maybe it's the fact that we've been looking at black and pink patent pumps for the last twenty years and someone has finally put a new spin on the classic pump.  From the second I saw my first pair of capped toe heels at Zara, I was hooked!

In the corporate world, I'm surrounded with stale blue oxfords, khaki slacks and black Calvin Klein suits.  The capped toe heel is a perfect way for any Corporate Fashionista to spice up her outfit and have all the other girls lusting.  Take a dip in the latest fashion trend, you won't be disappointed!

Stuart Weitzman shoes are my favorite.

Chanel cap toe heels (a splurge) but so beautiful!

Perfect starter pair.  Only $22! Metallic cap toe pumps (see here)

Great accent piece with black jeans/pants.
A little pop with a elegant dress.
